Bridgette and Jack said "I do" at Spencer Farm, and Nelson turned it on for them.

A perfect summer's day from start to finish, all warm light and clear skies over the farm. Nelson holds a special place in Bridgette and Jack's hearts, and it's exactly why they chose it as the place to marry. Planning from abroad, they knew from early on that having support on the ground was going to be essential — so they could hand over the details, trust it was taken care of, and simply arrive ready to soak up the day with the friends and family who mattered most.

Bridgette's family has a holiday house at Kina, just down the road from Spencer Farm, and that's where the morning started — the girls spilling across both the family property and the neighbouring one, hair and makeup by Chloe Hewetson and Poppy, with Sapphire Studios and BeJoined Films weaving through it all to catch the laughter before anyone was even dressed.

With Spencer Farm being very much a destination venue, Nelson Coachlines took care of getting most guests there and home again, running them out to the farm and back at the end of the night so everyone could relax and enjoy the day without a second thought about the drive.

The florals by Wallflower Botanics were phenomenal, the brief executed to perfection, with soft, romantic arrangements that enhanced the natural beauty already on offer at the farm. The ceremony pieces were the feature of the day, then thoughtfully relocated into the marquee while guests enjoyed cocktail hour, so that same beautiful florals carried straight through into the reception. As the light dropped over the farm, Summers Sons took over the dance floor — every guest made an appearance out there throughout the night, which stayed full and pumping right to the very end.

One of our favourite personal touches was Bridgette's hand-drawn, custom-designed silk scarf, gifted to every guest as a keepsake of the day, this was set at each place setting as guests found their seats in the marquee, then kept making appearances all night long — tied on wrists, draped over shoulders, and out in full force on the dance floor.

We had the pleasure of coordinating the day for Bridgette and Jack, and this is exactly what a wedding should feel like when you're planning from the other side of the world.
